The Townsend & Barry Leadership Academy is accepting applications for its 26/27 cohort.
Since 2005, the Townsend & Barry Leadership Academy has developed leaders throughout Kentucky's substance use and mental health recovery fields. Participants complete a three-day intensive workshop plus two follow-up retreats (October/November and April) at state parks, and work in teams on a Challenge Project to strengthen recovery in their communities.
The program includes 35 CEUs and all materials for a $150 non-refundable fee once accepted. CEUs are approved for social work (NASW-KY) and for Kentucky's community support specialist, adult and youth peer support specialist, family support specialist, and targeted case management certifications.
