Objectives

At the end of this conference
participants will be able to:

• Discuss stigma and social determinants of health.
• Create a culture and message focusing on person-first language.
• Understand accessing recovery capital, and the need for supporting all pathways of recovery.
• Recognize how clients respond on multiple levels of treatment when counseling is filtered through their own cultural experiences.
